ZION LINGUIST
Laurence Sonnenberg AKA Zion Linguist started his career in the psytrance scene at the early age of 15, playing alongside some of South Africa’s top acts. Now at 25 he is part owner of one of S.A’s freshest labels, MMD Records (Mind Manipulation Device Rec.).
He hopes, through his label, to release cutting edge psytrance written for the twilight hours of any party, and through his own music, rock …the body and bend the mind!
His second album entitled “Plugged In” released in 2008, hit the world in a big way, with massive dance floor response and massive reviews. Zion Linguist has also had single releases on MMD Records, afrogalactic records, Vision Records, One Foot Groove Records, Noize Conspiracy Records, Orb Records, BMSS Records, Sonic Motion Records and has more upcoming releases with MMD and BMSS Records coming soon!
