Velly aka Vel'Ocity
Mavuso started mixing live in 2007 and in this short time has managed to tap into many different genres. Vel'Ocity plays various house genres and commercial music; he tailors each set to suit the crowd and keeps his fans simmering on the dance floor.
Growing up in Tembisa, Vel'Ocity started playing piano, bass guitar and drums in the local church choir. His passion has always been with music and he decided to pursue his dream of becoming a DJ/Producer.
A Successful and well known Friend DJ Clock, who has a very similar background to Vel'Ocity, inspired him to try out his dream of becoming a DJ and he hasn't looked back ever since! Vel'Ocity sees himself behind the decks at Ibitha in 5 years as he aims to take his fusion of dance genres to an International level.
