Soulful DJ (aka Nkateko  Mabunda), also known for his work in the Dj industry , is a Producer and DJ based out of East Rand Tembisa, Johannesburg South Africa. He creates and performs Soulful dance music; including lounge, house, heavy remixes of club and hip hop favorites, original glitch hop, soulful house, Deep house or Genre of other styles.

Starting his career as a DJ at a tender age of 16yrs, covering  various styles and genres with a focus on dance music and hip hop, Samples began creating his own hybrid of Soulful House and deep house music into a club sound that fits as well in theaters and festivals as it does on dance floors.

His CO. owns Soulful Musical Movement Records, EPs supported by Geonix Deep Records, and The Lord of The Records as well as tracks; Soulful DJ is one of the most sought out Dj, producers and remixes artists in the House music scene with collaborations including some of electronic music’s most influential people.  Event and festival dates all over the country to audiences very familiar with his music.

Gigging Experience

Inspired by the biggest names in the house music industry such as Larry Heard aka Mr. Fingers(USA), DJ Vernon(SA), Vinny Davinci, DJ Christos(SA), Black Coffee(SA), Dj Mbuso, Calvin Morgan(USA) to name a few; Soulful DJ has set on a journey to create his mark on the Music scene with the release of his Solo E.Ps released under Soulful Musical Movement Records and Geonix Deep Records which elevated him to a household name in countries far afield and clubs, Lounges such as House 22(PTA), Lavianto Lounge(PTA), Carnivals Bar (Tembisa), Element Tembisa, African Chef(PTA Centurion), around the South Africa.
