About Shaun Jocobs
With his new chart-topping single “Love Can” playlisted on major stations in South Africa, Shaun Jacobs is a name people are starting to become familiar with.
“Love Can” is the first single from his upcoming second album which comes on the heels of his debut album Paper Wings.
Shaun is a multi-instrumentalist born and raised in South Africa. At 5 years of age he was already playing drums, and after getting his first drum set at 14 he was intent on being a drummer. It would be years later that he discovered his talents for guitar, singing and songwriting.
"The reasons for Jacobs' success are simple -- he's a songwriter in the mould of prolific hitmaker-for-hire Ryan Tedder, and a performer after the model provided variously by U2, Coldplay and others" Bruce Denill -- The Citizen
