About Nothende
Songbird Nothende's musical journey began at the tender age of 11 when she wrote her first song inspired by 90's R&B music and videos.
Imitating the likes of Destiny's child, Nothende formed singing groups wherever she went. A chance meeting with producer KB led to her recording a song which then became her first single. Though fame and success didn’t come immediately, Nothende made her way through the industry by doing features and backing vocals for various acclaimed artists. Her first big break-through hit came when she was the featured vocalist for Lulo Café's "I Wanna Love You". She has since been highly sought after by, and worked with, the likes of Chad Saaiman, Kabomo, Slikour and GB Collective.
Nothende's music is a fresh blend of urban/soul sounds enriched with great, smooth melodies and catchy lyrics. Her vast experience in the industry has prepared her to set new boundaries through powerful vocals and high energy, ground breaking performances, with the intent on motivating and encouraging positive elevation -- in mind, body and spirit, while providing unforgettable entertainment.
