DJ Emkay Biography
One of South Africa’s up and coming female DJ’s; Emkay is a young and talented artist who shows a lot of promise in becoming the next best thing in the music industry.
Having grown up in a family where music of almost all genres was virtually pumped into her ears from a young age, when the opportunity came for her to start learning how to dj, she learned the art with ease and great amount of passion. She took djing lessons at the University of Johannesburg,
Mixmasters DJing Society from March 2010. By May 2010, she was already on her first gig.
Since then, she has played alongside the likes of DJ Franky, Euphonik, Vigilante, Josi Chavé and Lulo Café, to but name a few.
She has originality in her style of play and can certainly accommodate any event as she plays House, RnB/Hip-hop, Kwaito, Disco etc.
