1. Introduction

NKM Communications is a100% black owned mobile disco, sound, stage and lighting hire company that is developing into the multi-faceted company, which will not only hire sound equipments but will also install sound, lighting and audio-visual equipment. NKM Communications is of a team of innovative and creative people, who together strive to achieve a level of service excellence beyond expectation using the best equipment the industry has to offer. It is our belief that quality service, together with quality products is essential to our success. 3. Our Scope of Service

3.1 Hire

Whether it's a large-scale event requiring equipment and crew, or you just need an extra mic, we can help.

Our team of fully trained, professional and helpful staff will be able to ascertain your requirements and provide you with a prompt reply to any enquiry.

All NKM Communications equipment are fully serviced and maintained to the highest standards.

Our technicians have a wealth of experience and have the ability to not only operate equipment, but also to solve problems if anything goes wrong.

And if you just hire equipment from us, you still have the reassurance of our 24-hour emergency call line.

3.2 Sound

We have a full range of sound equipment for all requirements including:
- Shure & Sennheiser radio handheld & lapel mics.
- Vocal, rifle, lectern & specialist instrument mics.
- CD, mini disc, cassette players, graphic's, compressors, reverb and crossover units.
- PA systems for any size event using JBL, EV, MCR & Ramsa speakers and mainly crest amps.
- 4 -- 32 channel mixing desks from Spirit, Soundcraft and Yamaha
- Back line equipment, coms, snakes & cables.

3.3 Stage

- We have a wide range of stages for both indoor and outdoor with or without roofing, This is done with constant consultation with the client to ensure that the client's special requirements are met.

- NKM has the technical expertise to help design and set up staging for any event starting from conception.

3.4 Lighting

From a simple light on a lectern to state-of-the art intelligent lighting, including:

- Martin MAC 250+, 300's and 550’s

- A range of Parcans, Profiles and Flood Lights

- Lighting boards and dimmers from Zero88, Strand and ETC

- Follow spots from Strand and Clay Paky

- Mirror balls, strobes, smoke machines and other effects units

- Stands, tri-lite and multi-cores

3.5 Audio Visual

Our AV section contains everything you need for your presentation. Our range includes:

- Projectors (SVGA & XGA) from 1000- 4100 ANSI LUMENS

- Front & rear projection screens (8’ × 6’ , 12’ × 9’ , 14’ × 10.5')

- Plasma screens & video play back monitors

- Scalers, switchers, vision mixers & splitters

- Notebook computers with wireless mouse

- Digital cameras

- Overhead projectors, slide projectors, laser pointers and flipcharts

3.6 Presentation Equipment

Presentation aids are utilised by the private and business sector, as well as educational institutions across the globe. We pride ourselves on catering to all the related markets by supplying a full range of presentation equipment for business meetings, training or for the school classroom.

3.7 Production and Event Management

The aim of any event is to achieve a purpose, whether this is to reward hi-performers and inspire others, motivate a sales force, show off a new product, introduce a new corporate strategy or even just share information and experiences. Our job is to identify this purpose, and then create an event that achieves it.

We will work with you as part of the team from the beginning, with our knowledge and experience assessing the aims and goals of your proposed event and advising on the style and structure, as well as the venue and equipment.
