About Phat George

Phat George has been in the Music industry for many years, starting off as freelance sound engineer for bands.

Phat George also did some radio presenting work, hosting numerous shows on a local radio station in East London for 9 years.

His musical knowledge spreads the board of 60’s right up to the latest and greatest club tracks and commercial hits.

In 2006 he made is debut at Buccaneers, in East London, and went on to DJ at all the student nights (Thursdays) and Foam parties during the summer.

In 2011 he was approached by one of the top clubs in South Africa, Numbers Dance Club, and soon after his first gig, attained a residency.

Phat George also played at numerous other venues in and around East London, like The Swiss Loft, Highlander Pub and The Deck in Gonubie to name but a few.

Phat George has a large following in East London and has asserted himself as a reputable DJ in East London.

Phat George currently resides in Port Elizabeth and services multiple institution around town.
