Dj Khoi started playing @ the age of 13, inspired by the likes of Dj Fresh, the late Dj Monde& Khabzela, Charles Webster, Dj Cleo, Fistas Mixwell, Glen Lewis, C-live, Rocco, Abicah Soul, Louie Vega, Gregor Salto, Dj Christos& Vinny da vinci, which was in 2002. Dj Khoi started playing for friends, school functions, 21st birthdays& various occasions to build a strong foundation& recognition for himself.

His first major gig was with Coca-Cola at Murray park in Springs, where he got an opportunity to share a stage with Oskido the living legend and other artists within kalawa jazzmi, the likes of Spikiri, Mahoota and fellow cats.
