- About Miguel Proenca
Miguel started playing at the age of 16 all over Pretoria. Miguel started his training ground dominating school socials being held at Girls and Boys High, CBC Pretoria, DSG and St Albins.
Later on Miguel started playing at a club called sports frog where his passion for playing grew more and more. Miguel also played at Jacqueline’s, Liquid state, Ed’s diner, Replay, Fandango’s, Drop Zone and Legends.
From 2000, Miguel took over Mpumalanga. Playing everywhere from corporate functions to government functions.
In 2008 Miguel entered a competition to become the Vodacom Top Jock for a commercial radio station in Mpumalanga, Mpower FM, under the guidance of Kevin Savage and Tony Murall and won. He has accomplished so much since being on the air, and has been with the station now for 2 years. He moved to Nelspruit after winning the competition and has been resident Dj at a club called Rocco’s as well as Carisma. He has MC’ed for numerous events such as Parletones concert, Vodacom functions ect.
