Franky fell in love with House Music in 2000
Franky started avidly collecting every single house music compilation from then on and the love grew deeper.

Franky started sneaking out of home to attend legendary house music parties at Electric Workshop. Watching his idols, such as DJ Fresh, Glen Lewis, Oskido, Christos, Vinny Da Vinci and more, work the magic with the music stirred up a funny feeling inside the youngster
Hanging out in studio with DJ friend, Adil, at YFM during his mix format radio show made the curiosity grow even stronger as numerous talented DJs ripped up the decks week after week. Watching the young prodigy, DJ Kent, in action during his residency sets on the show in 2003 helped Franky make up his mind about what he wanted to do. That simply, DJ Franky was born and he started learning how to mix. In 2004 he was ready to play his 1st set at a packed campus party. The result? The DJ set of the evening! DJ Franky had arrived!! Met his current business partner and mentor, DJ Euphonik, while on campus and together they formed the campus' 1st DJ society and started doing groundbreaking gigs in and around town.

DJ Franky is offered and maintains 2 DJ residencies in Jhb's most happening clubs at the time, Monaco and WhoZoo. Franky wins his campus round of the Gauteng DJ challenge and comes 2nd overall in the province. In 2006, Franky becomes the Mystery DJ on YFM's Saturday midday ratings show this to be the the most listened to mix on the entire station. In the same year, he becomes a student brand ambassador for Smirnoff Spin and this hones his event hosting skills.

At present, DJ Franky is:

• The resident DJ on Euphonik's much acclaimed Sunday night house show, 5FM's My House.


• The slot gained so much popularity that it was the 1st feature to be fully sponsored on the show
  Releasing a classics cd on the much awaited 2008 compilation Soul Candi session 4, mixed by Franky, Euphonik, Giggz Superstar and 2lani the warrior.


• Is a sought after crowd pulling DJ around the country the logistics manager for Jhb based eventing company, Jozinights with fellow DJs Euphonik and SPHEctacula

IMMINENT

Just finished mixing a cd in the highly anticipated Electro Candi series, which is a collection of all the hottest electro house singles from that year to date of release and only the country's most respected DJs are invited to mix this celebrated album. This is the 2nd edition with the 1st one having sold over 50 000 units. The cd, ELECTRCO CANDI VOL. 2 is due for release in October 2009

FUTURE

In the final stages of preparing for his 1st solo release to be out in February 2010
