Kevin Butho took an interest in the dj sector in his mature adolescent years, around 16 years of age, concurrently entertaining for almost nine years. That which sets him apart is continuous taking of initiative in his ambition to ensure the ultimate success in every pursuit. Subsequent to lecturing at Technics DJ mix club,.
Kevin B is constantly seeking to increase his capabilities, and is presently expanding his knowledge in music production.
His passion lies in House music essentially, yet he adapts to generate quality Hip Hop and RnB. His portfolio exhibits a feature on 5FM (Vinyl Frontier), Clubs Nova and The Annual Woodstock festival. Kevin is an introvert at heart but his music is strangely extroverted. Kevin B has visited much of the European circuit, experiencing the club life at its maximum potential. He retains the knowledge from abroad but is firmly rooted in South African soil. his inspirations musically, include John Digweed, Sasha, Steve Lawler and Sander Kleinenberg. Kevin spawned from a musically inclined heritage from which he also inherits a business mind. Presently, Kevin manages and owns two entities specializing in event management: Up and Coming Global Productions as well as Functional Solutions. Through these he has fashioned many club events to include Friday Night Essentials at Black Orchid, SNOW & F1 at Monsoon Lagoon, and various others at Vogue, Tokyo Sky, FTV Sandton and Taboo.
Summed up he is a highly passionate and skilled individual with self-discipline. He is an inspiration to all with his display of perseverance. In his youthfulness he illustrates rare attributes of a superstar.
