DJ Tulz real name is Tulani Mafumana , started deejaying in 1992 East London. He developed his career by hosting beach and house parties 1995,96…….then he went on to do sound engineering and it was then that he met the top SA DJ Mbuso and others.
In 2001 he won the Mhlobo Wenene FM DJ competition and he joined the SABC radio as a Disc Jockey doing party time slot on weekends
He has produced tracks for various people inc: Mbuso ,Kanyisile Mbau, Unathi Ntakana and others.
In 2005 he released his first CD called Eazweni Vol 1 and in 2007 he did a follow up 14 track album titled Halelyah n2, and now he just release a third album called Emazweni vol3
DJ Tulz started a DJ school at the Mdantsane location in East London and also he is developing young guys both as DJs and artist . He has been working closely with SAB doing promotions for them.
He is well know in the Eastern Cape for doing gigs like weddings, private functions, corporate functions and other entertainment.
He is now working on the long awaited 4th CD release coming out in 2011. .- Gigging Experience
