Dj Molf DEEP’s musical influences got underway in the early 90s. During that time when his country was just emerging from political turmoil he was listening to such greats as Larry “Mr. Fingers” Heard, Kerry “Kaoz 623” Chandler, Blue Six, Joaquin “Joe” Claussell, Osunlade, Frankie Knuckles, The Rurals, Kenny “Dope” Gonsalez, “Little” Louie Vega, Atjazz and many more. He purchased his first ever record “Vinyl” in 1999, at Lady Lea’s Flipside Records in Sunnyside Pretoria.
Molf DEEP’s signature deep house sound has infusions of jazz, soulful vocals, afro elements, smooth melodies and beautiful keys & chords. He blends all these sounds to create a signature sound that is unique to him. Molf DEEP is definitely going places.
