Brendon Geary aka B_Type passion for music took off whilst working for SA Rave Pioneers, Pharcyde, and seeing artists such as Carl Cox, Derrick May and Jeff Mills long before he was of legal age and it set the platform for a lifelong desire to play and produce electronic dance music.

An active DJ over the past 17 years, B_Type has played host to a diverse array of sounds, from Cape Town’s house and deep house revolution to his present affinity for a fresh Techno bassline, he’s been through it all. His current sound is a blend of Minimal and driving Techno influenced by artists such as Umek, Adam Beyer, Sebastien Leger, and Slam; that really gets into its stride in longer-length sets. A 4 hour B_Type set is a journey, given extra dimension with Live instrumentalists such as Maurice Paliaga (Dirty Skirts) on Digi bass and Charne’ on Rock guitar- an eclectic blend of electronic dance and rock edge.
