No stranger to the South African music scene, Sasha last toured Johannesburg and Cape Town during February 2009 when over 4000 fans experienced the unique sound delivered by the legendary British DJ and producer, who has remained inside the world’s 15 most popular dance acts for the last decade.
DJ/producer/remixer Sasha is recognized as one of the worlds’ most innovative icons of the electronic genre. He propels listeners into the future of electronic music by constructing innovative and forward-thinking concept albums (Airdrawndagger, Involver) and live events (Delta Heavy, Fundacion) that blur the boundaries between artist and DJ.
He has established himself as a formidable and in demand remixer by reconstructing tracks from an incredible array artists including Depeche Mode, Madonna, Seal, UNKLE, the Chemical Brothers, BT, Thom Yorke (Radiohead) and Orbital. This Grammy nominated artist went on to win the Best Soundtrack Award at the 2008 X-Dance Awards after scoring the soundtrack for surf film New Emissions of Light and Sound.
