About DJ Ndayo

One of South Africa's Dj's, Thabani Msomi aka Ndayo has the ability to wow crowds with his ability to entertain via mixing house songs from different era's and make them relevant today.

His ambition combined with his talent for spotting and creating good music makes him standout whenever he plays. His success is built on perseverance and a great work ethic.

Ndayo does not only dj, but he is also a producer, songwriter, singer and production company owner (Ndayo Productions). He currently has a few projects that he is working on. A house album, an afro pop album for his first signing and a hip hop album for his hip hop artist Anubis.

In a short space of time he has already played alongside well renowned DJ's Nono, Steel DJ, Franky, Sphectacular, Sox amongst others.

The year has already seen a launch of his website www.djndayo.com. He also has plans of launching his clothing line starting with T-Shirts shortly.

Another venture has seen him headlining Month End Comic Nights at Sinah Bar playing alongside Hip Hop DJ Papercutt. When asked about his passion and where he gets the inspiration from he says:

"Guys like Euphonik, Sphectacular, Naves, Slikour, Fresh, Franky, Tira inspire me because they are not only DJ's but they are also business people. My passion for music and my love for business are what will make me the biggest thing yet…"

Ndayo is a house DJ with excellent credentials. His successful DJ career has also seen him play in some of the most prestigious events around the country, consistently wowing crowds with his technically brilliant, distinctly unique mixing style and energy behind the decks. His sets are always fresh, original and well thought about, combining upfront house with sometimes live vocals and yet to be released MP3’s, promos, club classics and acapellas on the decks – This ensure that Ndayo stands out from the rest. 2009 has seen Ndayo being booked from as far as Richards Bay to headline. With the official launch of Ndayo Productions Regional House Sessons in Johannesburg imminent, 2010 is already looking like it’s going to be bigger, better and even busier.

Ndayo plays Deep house, Commercial and Electro house, and uplifting house. The music Ndayo plays depends on where he’s booked, but you can always expect his sets to be melodic, pumping, and dance floor friendly. No bloopers or flops from this DJ!
