Ivan-Lloyd,

Is a born & bred Pretoria boy, one of South Africa's top Artist/DJ's a connoisseur of a variety of house music, his passion & artistic talent for music naturally fills the dance floors within minutes from all races & cultures!

Better known & more easily recognizable as DJ Ivy or Dark Temptation, his two DJ alias names.

Well's growing up in Pretoria I shortly moved to a little town called Nelspruit in Mpumalanga at the early age of about 8 or 9 not knowing what to expect from Nelspruit it was here where my passion for music all stared a years ago, and as any young teenager wanting to explore the club life it's what I did, I went out to the one club, back then it was called ''Ground Level'' what a legendary club it was!! Saw the one DJ ripping it up back then on Vinyl 🙂 and it caught my attention and I feel in love with it.

And I started collecting Vinyl after vinyl, and started out as a bedroom DJ & shortly moved on to playing at house parties & various night clubs around Nelspruit, It was from there on that I knew what I wanted to become and that was a Pro DJ and to be able to have my own album out.

So I did a bit of networking and got the opportunely to work at Retro Music in Johannesburg as a Salesperson /DJ instructor and I take it and decided to move to Johannesburg to pursue the Music industry.

It was from there on words that I got to bring out my own album ''Sunset to Sunrise'' Vol-1 and got to play @ one of South Africa’s biggest outdoor events called H20 voted in the top 50 parties in the world, from there on I got to play at various night club's and events in and around Johannesburg, Pretoria & Nelspruit as well as outside of South Africa.

Ivy literally lives and talk's music, if it has a good beat to it you can be sure that Ivy will be playing it!

I see myself as a leader and not a follower.....See you on the dance floor!!!
