About Bavi Dubstar

With 9 years experience behind his name, Dj Bavi knows how to entertain a crowd. Coming from a background of music including playing the guitar and piano from a young age Bavi has a fine ear for good music and melody.

He's style varies through different styles including Deep House, Tech and Minimal House, Nu-Disco, Electronic Funk, Dubstep, Grime and Modestep.

Over the years Bavi has gained experienced at numerous gigs, events and residencies, playing alongside some of SA's top entertainers and DJ's including:

Lady Lea, DJ Milkshake, Thalia Sklair, Fire & Ice (Dj Amanda & Dj Kirsty), Gareth Cliff, Dj Jazzy D, Dj Shawny B, Dj Vimo, Dj AK, Peter Booth, Eddy Virgo, Ray Ray, Mac 10, Dave Skinz, Lloyd Cele (Idols runner-up 2010), Boki Ntsema (Idols Finalist 2010), Chezleigh Rose, K_Slique, Trevor the DJ, Dj Sanveer, DJ Ashwin, 37MPH (SAMA 2011), Dj Nawty Neil, Dj Prince, Dj Devon, KD Kool, Dj Didi, Dj Shai, Dj Kevin Spider, Dj Krank, etc.

Shortly after a major car accident in 2009, with a broken arm Bavi entered Dj Battles such as The Spoiled Rotten DJ Battle and Voodoo Lounges Survival of the Djs, pulling 1st runner up and Pre-lim winner positions respectively. He then took a break from the music scene to recover.

He is now back, devoting his time to Production and Crowd Entertainment.
