BEAT SENSATION mobile disco began in the early 90’s as a hobby during our school days as we were passionate about music and in response to requests from friends played from an old HI-FI system using Christmas tree lights for lighting effects.

Tapes and old records were used extensively however in tune with the technological revolution we progressed to CD’s. In those days we played under the name of D.J. Remix rocking school functions and in response to demand moved to birthday parties, fashion shows, club events and our first corporate events as we gained more exposure on the music scene.

As functions grew it was necessary to upgrade and invest in entry level equipment and a decision was made to locate to Durban to serve an apprenticeship on route to becoming more polished and knowledgeable of the DJ scene.

We worked with large professional sound, lighting and DJ companies gaining valuable experience. Traveling around the country to various venues and events was also part of the job requirements. A strategic move to the midlands of KwaZulu-Natal positioning D.J. Remix centrally to service the Drakensberg and Durban allowed us to work with ease through the entire province providing services from Sun Coast right up to Johannesburg.

From D.J. Remix BEAT SENSATION was born which is fully licensed with the South African Music Rights Organization (SAMRO) License No. ST 0099782 providing services through out the entire country whenever and wherever required dealing with a variety of entertainment and catering for all requirements at a competitive, negotiable rate.

BEAT SENSATION has invested in quality equipment from professional sound and lighting companies and now caters for all events no matter how large or small with a range of equipment and lighting. Indoor and outdoor function to date vary from theme & foam parties, private functions, matric farewells and New Year eve celebrations. Fashion shows, sports and shop promotions, weddings, yachting regattas and water sport activities inclusive e of the entertainment of children while parents compete.
