While completing his marketing degree, Rick simultaneously embarked on a successful start to the radio broadcasting and DJ’ing scene.
Soon after, Rick realised that his passion lay with live events. With a career now spanning nearly 2 decades, Rick has been a valued entertainer on the corporate and entertainment scene, hosting fashion shows, corporate events, beauty pageants, store openings, golf days, product launches and casino and shopping centre promotions amongst others and is known in the sporting and entertainment arena as both an artist and producer. His appearance as a presenter on both Pop Idols and Big Brother functions took the South African entertainment industry by storm.
He is a “creator of stadium magic” according to critics. Having hosted hundreds of stadium events he is proud to be the resident stadium announcer for Ellis Park. Rick also went on to host international Springbok games along with the World Cup under 21 and international 7’s tournaments. Rick has just been approved as an official FIFA 2010 World Cup Stadium announcer.
In casinos, Rick has the proud record of hosting and giving away more cars than any other MC and more recently presented and commentated for the DSTV poker millions episodes! Rick now runs a production and marketing company. All this has made him one of the country’s most experienced and sought after MC’s! Rick also spent time hosting radio shows and has entertained on the world’s largest cruise ship. His charisma and stage presence is delivered perfectly with every performance.Services Offered
