Who Are The Phonodeeps?
The Phonodeeps are a duo of two (Fortune “smallas” Mokoena & Ziyanda “YorubaCoustic” Mokone), who discovered their passions for deep house music in unity. Both Born and raised in a little township known as Wattville, in the East Rand. Duo was thought about way back in the year 2006 but not much effort was put in then, till the year 2009 where they establishing a Group of Underground Rhythm Deejays called “House Band Entertainment” which wasn’t successful due to commitment not being put in. These two decided to establish their own Record Label… Phonodeeps Musique!

Phonodeeps Musique is A Recording Label that caters in all aspects of Good Music, From NuJazz , Lounge Couture to Deep House. Two Passionate DJs/Producers who believe in leaving a huge mark in whatever they do and strive to be perfectionists’ everyday just to please your ear drums.

Phonodeeps entered the DJ’ing 2008 and gone from Rocking Clubs, Corporate functions, bashes, private party, sundae sessions, touch tv (DSTV vuzu), QH radio etc…
Phonodeeps started making waves in East Rand, South Rand & Pretoria. Phonodeeps earned their stardom by always rocking the masses with new unreleased music & the type of music they play.
Dj’ing is a skill & skill is what these boys have, the skill of know when to play what type of music & the skill of reading the crowd keeping them moving. Phonodeeps is currently freelancing they don’t have a permanent slot at any club at the moment.
