THE BANG BANG CLUB IS DEAD
LONG LIVE THE BANG BANG CLUB

Four years ago, four men set out on a mission; a mission to open up a night club in Cape Town that is all about the music. A place where they can express themselves musically and creatively and do so with like – minded people. The mission did not start out on the easiest path, with the law hot on their heels the first 6 months were very treacherous – so treacherous in fact that the club did not open and the dream (and money) was almost lost forever, but with persistence and passion the lads surged on to open… The Bang Bang Club.

Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, it gives me great pride, pleasure and no small amount of pain to write this final newsletter on behalf of Federico Scarpecci, Harael Salkow, Tim Smith and myself. The reason that this will be the final newsletter is that the Bang Bang Club has
been sold. Although a bittersweet affair we would like to take this opportunity to say a special thank you to the amazing staff, DJs, bands, sponsors, publications, brands, clubbers and everyone else for being involved in The Bang Bang Club over the years and sharing our vision (in no particular order):
